I love my trumpet! <3

Who here is going to the Great East Music Festival (the judication and Six Flags event)?

This is what happens when you put an oboe in a marching band.

I just laughed so hard that I think I added 20 years to my life!

Just performed in the jazz band on trumpet, and minutes later performed a bassoon feature in symphonic band! YAY!! SO HAPPY!!!!! :D And the near instantaneous switch wasn’t too bad either!

I’m the only bassoon player in my school, and we have sectionals. What instruments should I go with?

Who says you can’t march with a bassoon! Bah!!

At first not a lot of people in my band had respect for the bassoon, but now that we’re playing “Alligator Alley” by Michael Daugherty, they seem to have gained respect for me and my beloved!  :D

They have seen the light, and it is pure.

Music cures.

So, I slept next to my bassoon last night (in it’s case). The weird thing was that I had a dream that had the bassoon in it, and that was pretty much the whole dream, me setting up and playing the bassoon (and me saying that the bassoon is the cooliest). That’s okay bassoon, you can take over my mind. <3

We have one. Guess who that lucky duck is. :D
