We have decided not to black out VGN today, but we do urge you all to take some form of action. There are many ways to help out. One being to call your Representative, but if you’re shy and/or don’t know what to say, head on over to blacklists.eff.org and fill out the small form. They will email your Representative for you.

Many of you may be asking why we are making a post of this, since it’s not related to video games, but in the long run it is. If SOPA passes, companies can sue you for something as simple as making a video game review with it’s footage in it. All fair use laws go down the drain and we’d like to help fight it.

If you don’t live in the US, you may think it won’t affect you, but it will, since a lot of content comes from the US. Your web will become a little more boring. So please, if you have the time, help out. Call a Representative and tell him/her your point of view.

Well said, VGN! We’re sure most people have heard about these, but we urge our followers to become informed about these bills as well, as it is a serious issue and fighting it requires everyone to join together and to be aware.

We also will not be blacking out today, but we still ask you all to please use today as a day to reflect on the state of these issues as a whole, as this will probably be the first of many battles for internet freedom in the years to come.

OMG YOU HAVE NO IDEA. Im currently one of three flutes in our band. The other guy is okay, BUT OMG THE THIRD GIRL JUST NEEDS TO GO AWAY. She actually was gone for a few rehearsals and it was GLORIOUS. She’s aweful, and somehow I keep being blamed for her mistakes. She seems to have a serious problem with playing accidentals, whereas….you know….I actually play the right notes. SO YAY DIMISHED SECONDS! And I keep being blamed for them. Im getting seriously annoyed over it. And sometimes, I take pity on her and I try to nicely point out her mistakes YET SHE TAKES NO ACTION TO FIX THEM.

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!.
